Legal translation
I am a sworn translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012. Following Brexit, I have specialised in the translation of documents for non-lucrative visa (NLV) applications for residence and retirement in Spain: police records, medical reports, birth and marriage certificates, bank statements, purchase deeds, and many others. Additionally, I can work on any other documents which you require such as academic transcripts and professional qualifications.
Technical translation
Before becoming a freelance translator in 2021, I worked as an in-house translator in the field of electronics and computing for five consecutive years. I also worked for several years as a translation manager for one of the world's largest construction-equipment manufactures: Caterpillar Inc. I also have experience working with press releases, marketing-related material and commercial website content. Literary translation
I hold a master's degree in cultural and literary studies, and a doctorate in comparative literature and literary theory from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am open for translation of both poetry and fiction, as well as contemporary essays in the fields of cultural politics and philosophy, among others.
