I’m a Sworn Translator of English certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have extensive experience translating official documents, particularly in procedures for residence in Spain such as non-lucrative visas (NLV). I work regularly with civil registry entries (birth, marriage), police records, medical reports, bank statements, academic transcripts, and other official certificates, always handled with accuracy and confidentiality.

Technical

Before working as a freelance translator, I spent several years in the technology sector, particularly in electronics and computing. I have experience both as an in-house translator and as a translation project manager for major international companies. This background allows me to deliver accurate and consistent technical translations tailored to real professional contexts, including technical documentation, corporate content, and commercial materials.

Commercial

I provide commercial translation services for businesses looking to communicate clearly and naturally across markets. I work with corporate content, websites, press releases and marketing materials, paying close attention not only to terminological accuracy but also to tone and style, so the message works just as effectively in the target language.

Literary

I hold a PhD in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, with a strong academic background in literary and cultural studies. I translate poetry and fiction, as well as contemporary essays in the fields of literature, philosophy, and cultural politics. My approach balances fidelity to the source text with close attention to voice, rhythm, and cultural context of the translation.

Academic

As a university lecturer and researcher, I am fully familiar with the demands of academic writing. I translate journal articles, book chapters, conference papers and other academic texts, respecting disciplinary conventions and the author’s voice while ensuring clarity, terminological precision, and fluency in the target language.
